The aim of the project is to develop, design and verify an easily positionable and subsequently relocatable milk collection station with data transfer to an Internet server and an auction portal.
The outputs of the project will be
1) flow pasteurizer (without the need for water) - prototype
2) container technology of the collection station - storage output using freezing boxes - prototype
3) container technology of the collection station - cheese boiler output - prototype
4) software for milk sales, station condition monitoring and station management - software

ecoMILK Station M/C
The ecoMILK station is an ideal device for the basic processing and storage of milk received from pastoralists in remote areas, from where it is impossible to deliver fresh milk to dairies in time for further processing.
Container station for milk collection and processing
The ecoMILK station is an ideal device for the basic processing and storage of milk received from pastoralists in remote areas, from where it is impossible to deliver fresh milk to dairies in time for further processing. The device can quickly and gently pasteurize the received milk and store it in a cooling tank (variant M) where it is ready to be pumped into an attached tank, or it is possible to remove curd from the milk, which is then frozen and stored in a freezer. The station is equipped with a GSM modem designed to send data to the ecoMILK BANK server.
Station equipment and their possibilities for improvement
The station can be optionally equipped with solar panels which ensure operation even without connection to the mains. The power of the panels is 5kWh and for all-day operation of the station, a total of 20kW of electricity is needed, mainly to reheat the water in the tank. During the day, electricity is stored in installed batteries, which ensure the operation of cooling equipment and computer technology. The solar system also includes a backup diesel unit for operation on days without sunlight.
Pasteurization is provided by the ecoPASTO machine with a capacity of 500 L / hour with an integrated hot water tank. The station also includes a small laboratory with a computer for recording data from the station's operation and an automatic control system ensuring the normal operation of the station's equipment. At station M a cooling tank with a volume of 1000L is installed and at station C a cheese boiler and a freezing box are used.
Station variants and their parameters
Station type - M
Variant M is designed for the collection, rapid pasteurization and storage of milk in a cooling tank. The milk stored in this way can be pumped into the attached tank and taken to the dairy for further processing.
The capacity of the cooling tank is 1000L and can be filled and pumped up to twice a day, resulting in a maximum capacity of up to 2000L of milk per day.
Station type - C
Variant C quickly pasteurizes the received milk and then removes the curd from it, which is then frozen and stored in a freezer. Such frozen cottage cheese can be stored for several months and its transport to the dairy for further processing is very simple. The daily capacity of the station is 2000L of milk, of which 200Kg of cottage cheese is made. The built-in cooling box has a capacity of 1000 pcs, so it is possible to store the product for up to 5 days. The rest of the process, ie whey, is further used as a supplement to feed cattle.
